What really pisses me off is when I tell someone an idea of a story and they put their two sense in about it. And the thing is that I don't even give them the story at all. I get all happy about one idea and suddenly my friend puts me down about it by saying stupid stuff.
Well, the reason why I'm blabbering about this is that one of my friends recently said that I am stealing ideas because the girl starts living the life of an RP game. (Role Play, if some of you don't know) A game where she plays an elf and is named thedarkscorpious. I'm not basing it off of any game, in fact the only computer role play game I've ever played is Perfect World. And what does my friend say before I can even describe the plot after "an RP game come to life"?
"That's copyright infringement."
THAT PISSED ME OFF. I started yelling at him, telling him that I could do my own ideas and didn't have to steal someone's hard working ideas that I got out to the world. Stealing someone's ideas isn't even the last thing that I'll ever do! It's not even on the list of what to do with ideas. With other ideas, I will ask permission to use, especially in a story that I will get published. But why, dare let me ask, why would I even need to use someone's ideas? Not even if they gave me permission would I even use it.
I might be more mad because I'm on my monthly. Maybe I should tell him that.
Naw. Let's make him worry.
